A bit like the Highlander series as well. A neat idea, but felt a bit heavy on exposition for my taste. A lot could have been let to assumption or left out entirely to be revealed much later.

How does one establish a new identity? Intriguing. I guess you could be fluent in many languages as well. Does mortality, in this case, give the bearer an omniscience of sorts? This has gotten me thinking.
