Really neat moment and feel to it all. I’m not familiar with the song, but you did a good job weaving a tale that rests between cowboy superstition and the supernatural. The character voice/dialect stuff bordered on too much for me, but that’s a style/taste thing.

I love this song! The dialect reminded me of an old timer or two I’ve meet in the southwest so not bad. LOVE the superstition and paranormal bent.
