I know, tawdry dolphins passionately playing nookie under the waves. Dolphins do have sex up to 20 times a day just for fun so thought it the perfect love scene to write.

Took me a second to get into the sea, but the waves carried me.

Mostly effective, and I didn’t even realize it was for the no word repetition challenge until I looked at that link later. A few missteps were distracting, like the ‘rubber is silky’ line, which just seemed out of nowhere, both grammatically and intent. Also, the butterfly reference was really out of place in your aquatic love scene.

@ THX 0477 – guess I was trying to describe dolphin skin which when wet is rather silky feeling. Too bad my meaning of the butterfly and new born cry weren’t understood. I’ll work on expressing myself better next time.
