Calvin and Hobbes strikes again! You know the great thing about a story like this is, even if we never did it when we were a child, we most defiantly thought about it. Now if we have children and find them doing it, how shocked can we really be? How difficult is it not to laugh?

Super cute. I think you nicely captured the way a kid might feel when he gets caught doing something he vaguely knows he shouldn’t be doing, but which doesn’t really feel wrong. . .I also love the mother’s exasperation. The pacing was great, too.
