The Question

My face was stone; shocked from the question asked on the other end of the phone. You were everything to me; my rock, my friend, everything to me. I trusted you with every and all things. How could you do this to me? Of all the people in the world, how could you do this to me? I’m pretty sure you know that there is no excuse for it. Not one. There is no turning back; no whoops, I’m sorry. You changed things, forever. I would have starved if that meant giving you food. How dare you take what I have sought for from me! What right do you have to do this? I gave you unyielding loyalty and this is how you repay me?! Did you honestly think it wouldn’t be a big deal?! And you expect things to just be cool? I’m sorry, but for my supposedly best friend to think it would be a good idea to date my ex just days after we broke up, and then to act as if I didn’t know you two were flirting while we were together says a hell of a lot about your character. “Fine, you can date her.” At least now I know what a snake you are.
