Really strong addition to the story. The biblical stuff worked well, especially the metaphorically drowning world. Cool to see you jumping on with a sequel as well.
Wow. I’m honored you decided to sequel one of my stuff. :D
I love how you took Noah and spun some purpose in his life in a way I didn’t actually originally plan. Noah as a prophet of god (or perhaps a node in some alien communications system that just accidentally destroyed millions of life while booting up, hha).
The scriptural feel you gave the series is a bit hard for me to try to continue on, though. That’s what happens when an awesome writer sequels to a noob.XD
Thanks y’all. I think I’ll make a sequel, but I do hope someone jumps in as well. Stepping out of your comfort zone is an excellent way to challenge yourself (and improve).
J Rein B, your idea is mundo excellent. I think I shall continue in that vein.
Going out on a tangent here, but what do you like to read? Writers, in general, have inspirations in other writers. I know I have mine. Your flavor reminds me of one of my all time favorite authors. If you have not read him, you should check him out. M John Harrison. He penned the fantasy Viriconium and two of my all time favorite novels, Light and Nova Swing. I think you will get a kick out of these books.
Umm, I guess I have a thing for space epics. Science fiction is hard to come by here, but I’m pretty sure I lean towards that. I definitely would try out M John Harrison, once I find his books! Thank you for your suggestion.:D
Epic? Then Harrison is right up your alley. I don’t really buy books, unless they’re really hard to find at the library and can’t be borrowed from a friend. Start with Light and see where you want to go from there.
