If I read it correctly, a very painful portrait of the rippling effects of domestic violence? The drips were at the same time effective and distracting. I think they conveyed the intended meaning, I’m just a bit under the weather so struggled to read through it.

I found myself skipping the ‘drip’ and ‘drop’ lines because it became like background noise until I’d hit a line where the drip or drop could possibly be the next word— and then the sound of water would come to the forefront again. I really liked this one. There’s so much in there and it’s expressed so artfully. Bravo.
