I liked the use of “pill” to take care of his illness and that he saw himself as a doctor. NICE analogy of how a mass murderer/suicide person may think it through.

Great metaphors! The repetition of the last several sentences really makes it heavy with creepy disturbance. Enjoyable read.

It’s brilliant becuase I only understood what was truly going on near the end. That gradual realisation added to the power of the piece.

Love the brevity of the imagery! It makes the reveal resonate so much more like the reader is there experiencing the surreal confusion of the event. Well done.

On a critical note, I think “center mass” got a bit too repetitive, and could have been replaced with chest or abdomen.
