BEAUTIFUL zxvasdf! You knocked the prequel into the stratosphere! I read spell bound and am tickled to think I may have inspired something like this. WOW. Loved your use of baryon and meson quarks that appose each other so causing action. LOVED the lines: “She was a creature shedding a dream of herself with the dry, cosmic rasp of a sundered chrysalis.” and “lubricated surface of reality”
Glad you liked it. “…and the universe kissed back” is a fun kind of story to expand on because there is so much left to the imagination.
