I like the premise of the friend at Seans bedside bemoning his fate but became confused as to what happend. So is it Julian talking to an injured Sean who accidentaly shot himself?

I was thinking a failed suicide… it happened to somebody I know. It was hard not to stare at the rubber nose.

Oh, how painful to have to face someone who had gone through that much pain. Makes for a powerful story.
