Ha! This is riotous! I love the entire concept, especially the line “Do not fear, I am a kind engineer.”

Feel free to prove me wrong, but I think you missed a 9 when the engineer was listing the guy’s age, right between 15 days and two hours. 3.1415_*9*_2653.

Still, this is awesome sauce of the most premium quality. It reminds me of Dr. Who in some vague way. It’s a fiver!

Reality engineering reminds me of the trailers I’ve seen for The Adjustment Bureau except that this story sounds cooler.

I’m not sure that there can be an official sequel, because nothing happens next. Nothing happens next because nothing can happen next. The man no longer exists and so there is no continuation. When it seems appropriate to a challenge, I’m sure the reality engineer will pull another person out, but until then, he lurks in the shadows, watching and waiting, for his time to strike.
