Super
An empty street greets your feet. The only sounds on the campus streets are your shoes hitting the pavement in that rhythmic tap tap. As soon as you reach the shuttle bus stop, the light above your head burns out, leaving you in complete darkness.
“Super,” you think to yourself. You stand there for a few minutes, in a brooding silence. Suddenly, there is a bright light and a screeching. Your hands fly to your ears and your eyes shut tight. The noise gets louder and louder. You try to scream for help but your vocal chords refuse to work. So you force your eyes open to see the source of all of this madness. Right in front of you is something that you never believed existed unless you saw it with your own two eyes. The source of all of the light, the din an angel, burning in its androgynous glory staring at you and speaking to you in its strange language. It reaches out to touch you then everything goes black. You wake up the next morning in the hospital wing with a massive concussion. What really happened?
