Oh, you had me at blood sucking monsters… I feel so cheated of horrors imagined. lol Donating blood is a good thing AND he got paid for it. Felt this may be redundent since they both mean almost the same thing: what lurked, awaiting.

Spoken like a true lurker of hospital hallways! Loved it! You might have been able to drag out the suspense a little further by describing the nurses in vague, horror terms…but over all a romp!
