I enjoyed writing this but would have liked to describe the anguish further. Then again, if I had written more, I may have messed it up. =[)

Nice portrait of the woe of immortality, and I really liked the hint at the end that he had been perpetuating the cycle to some extent by repeatedly drinking, not unlike addiction.
