Funny Story of My Insignificant Ordeal
The foot surgery went well even though I was apprehensive about having it because I was about to, as the proverbial saying goes, “go under the knife” with general anesthesia. Okay maybe a lot worried about it because I’ve never had general anesthesia previously.
However, the surgery was the easiest part. First, the IV needle was minimally painless because they used a numbing agent before sticking the 20-gauge IV needle into my hand. After, I was wheeled into the surgery room trying to relax before the unknown and thinking what led up to this point, also it was just yesterday morning I learned that I was having surgery today. My head was in a spin.
When I was finally moved onto the surgery table I noticed the flow of this bright white milky liquid into my IV and before I knew it I was out. After that last memory, the next thing I knew I was in the recovery room and it was all over.
Now here comes the difficult part of this insignificant ordeal. The hospital…
