This story gets me giddy with the anticipation of spring. I’m gonna go catch me some salamanders.

Todd’s accent was a pleasantly perfect fit by the way.

This is a fine mix of humor and melancholy; I smiled a half-smile reading it. The rich and carefree life children live, even when poor and troubled is bittersweet at best.

To be honest, I think this story works better on its own, if you don’t consider the prequel. It’s quite good either way, though, and I don’t have much to add. Well done.
