Bunny Rebellion

Atop his box he stood, surveying his people. In the coolness of the warehouse they all stood in a nervous shadow, clinging to his every word, transfixed by the single sunbeam cast across his shining, dark face. Timid and scared, Lindt’s ultimate easter prizes wait in silence for whatever fate befalls them.

One however, would not wait to be devoured by the undignified mouths of tubby children. So there he stood, addressing his crowd.

“My fellow chocolate bunnies! Tomorrow, is a day of barbaric tradition! Tomorrow we will sent to the unquenchable stomachs of humans like cattle to the slaughter! This will not happen my brethren, for today is the day we march to greener pastures. We will lay our delicious bunny eggs in green fields and live our lives freely together! March towards your freedom and make your own fates!”

So they marched out into the day, away from their prison. Row upon row of chocolate ears in quiet optimism.

Sadly for the bunnies, it was a warm spring.
