I hate dreams like that. Good description of both the dream and the feelings afterward… often we get so caught up that the emotions remain even after we are fully awake.

Maybe italicize the dream or reality to separate the two? A couple punctuation issue and you probably can change “not twice but enough number of times” to
“not twice but may times” or a along that line. Using your choice of “enough” goes against your message that she doesn’t know how many times she stabbed her. “enough” only ended when she awoke?

@Mystique: your right. I focus too on possible flows from prequel to sequel, I read every story with that in mind. You left the story open to a dream within a dream scenario by not separating the realities. That’s the point I had wanted to make, my apologies for not being clear. You have the opportunity to lock in a scenario relating to realities.

@32 squared, super! That outlook is also nice.. yup..there’s a great possibility..to get the “inception” kinda thingy going .. nice!

I get the impression that the narrator is quite young, maybe in middle school.
