Nicely written and a great representation of the “reading ones life as it happens” genre. But your ending makes it your own. Your reader is satisfied enough by the size of her leather bound life. No need to for her to proceed further or where the ribbon might lay across her spine. Loved it.
Nice..awesome. It started off prettty usual and I was wondering what would happen next. As the words in the book hit home..I yelled “Oh no!” Very well written!
Your pacing is perfect, moving me to always want more as I read. I feel the end is mine, but you steal it back. I smile, nod and I thank you for entertaining me.
I enjoyed the story, but I’m not sure if it fits the challenge. I felt like it had too much fantasy in it. Of course, it’s not my challenge and the decision isn’t mine, but that’s just my reaction.
If I consider this story outside the challenge, I have to say that I quite enjoyed the writing and the idea. It reminds me a lot of The Neverending Story.
