Is it “Schizophrana” or “Schizopharma,” and out of interest, why is it pronounced “schiz·o·kar·ma”?
I was absolutely intrigued by those little morsels you dropped in the dossier, those subtle hints at a larger story. Like “Race: lusus naturae, Pacific.” My imagination was already fired and raring to go before I even hit the prose.
I like this, in spite of the fact that science fiction is not something I get into easily. Really, being a Martian doesn’t generally affect that it is a personal dossier that we are reading, a biography of sorts. Good job!
Super neat set up— like an intergalactic FBI file. MIB Came to mind a little bit but it reads like something Kurt Vonnegut Jr. might write. There’s a sinister, cold, void of emotion sort of tone to it— like the agency trying to bring this ‘thing’ in is the enemy.
