Yeah, I was a little grossed out by the bird-dismembering, but I love the way it was told, and the dialect of the protagonist really added to the feel of it. And the last line threw me for a curve, which was awesome!

There is something wrong with Ethrel, and it’s not just lack of education! Love the bird friend. The interaction adds a lot to the character.
