The Mystery of being Similarly Different

Sam isn’t odd looking or is unusual in his appearance. He’s not mentally retarded or diagnosed with any physical or psychology illness. He’s just Sam. The Sam who was born in a hospital like every other child and brought up in a family with both his parents and siblings. Nothing odd about that.

However, something isn’t right. He’s met a lot of people in his time. Attended two secondary schools and two universities. He took a gap year before university and worked as a receptionist in London. He took part in many non-academic activities such as football and stage performance when growing up. Now, he works as a consultant. He’s done many things, been to many places and have seen and met many people. Yet Sam still fails to achieve the one thing he desperately yearns for. The most important thing that he feels he can ever learn in life. The only thing that can make a man truly happy, and that is… to ‘connect’ with people. Conversations keep going but once they end, it’s ended. Nothing is left behind.
