I like that Pandemonium is capitalized :) You’re so good at writing in this genre, this mysterious sort of fantasy slash adventure slash awesomeness.

The ‘coated in rotten fruit’ line is an exquisite description, as is the whole Ficly. This one is immense and grand and interesting… I couldn’t help but think of the pandemonium below as a sort of hell, or a chamber of punishment, maybe a world of punishment, but most definitely that of banishment from the house. You leave the story right at an enticing turning point. It’s well set up for a sequel.
