A twisted look into the fall of a certain angel, by adding in this lover. I have a strong suspicion that this angel, if truly in awe of Lucifer, would have followed him and become a demon, rather than stayed, though you make a good case for the true torture being a separation from love. I think that the ‘separation from love’ part IS the true torture, but instead I think perhaps the love would be god himself. A gripping account, nonetheless. It made me think.
Oh, and they say that all forms of love comes from God, right? the angel never really stopped loving Lucifer, but this was what he saw. It’s like an analogy that God never stopped loving him, but he couldn’t see it anymore.
A Biblical story from another perspective – I like it a lot. Heart wrenching, which is something you wouldn’t expect the fall of Lucifer to be. This is one of my favorites that I’ve read in a while.
thanks.:D I actually thought of the last line a few weeks before, without any corresponding story. It got me thinking: in what story would the last line work? This story came about from that. hha.
