I liked the back and forth and his utter disregard for anything other than trying to hook up. It’s a great scene for really setting up both his character and the peril/adventure/possibilities to follow.

I haven’t read very many of these, but I have read a few, and this was one of my favorites, just due to the awesome dialogue that really let me see these characters, like THX said, his utter disregard for anything she’s trying to say.
