Nice action sequence. Don’t get the “spoon” thing, but the flaming sword was cool. []o)

I’m not sure the ‘Matrix’ reference works here. I think you should cut it out. This kind of humour in this kind of sequence really takes away from the action. I’ve always despised humour in fight scenes. Fight scenes should be about blood not giggles!
But yeah, even if I liked it, this is set pre-Matrix and doesn’t work.

That said, the actual sequence is really well described. I do like it, bar that dumb line in the middle.

In this new world, I believe the Matrix has already been made. So there.
