Why do you put spaces before commas? It does give a manic quality to the writing, but I’m not sure if it’s deliberate.

I think you’re a bit confused ; writing was never my passion , not his. But because of him , I’ve realized how much I enjoy it.

And honestly , the spaces before commas things is just an idiosyncrasy of mine. It started about a month ago through a text message and transferred over to my typing. To me , I think it looks neater , and I have a small amount of OCD with silly little things , this being one of them. I’m not sure either if it’s deliberate , but it makes me feel a bit more secure when I speak.
