Mother Rose is awesome. She has careful foresight, perfect planning, and many tools at her disposal. I would imagine that her rivals (Yuki?) find her incredibly dangerous. Excellent addition to the series.

Disturbing and I’m only semi certain I know what is going on. The line about smiling ruefully seemed like a run-on maybe. Great tone and feel to the story.

Definitely a little disturbing the way things are shaping up, but also very intriguing. Just what exactly is everybody up to.
