Great portrait of a cranky old salt. Nicely painted and lots of portent and possibility…or posse-bility as Sir Bic has added.

I can’t tell if this is supposed to be a tough-as-nails badass or a cantankerous old man. Maybe both?

I was thrown by how different he was than the Man With No Name, who speaks quietly and says as little as possible.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I’m adequately intrigued by this character that I’ve decided to tell his story properly, leaving the subtext aside completely.
