Do you want to have any input on what is going on in the room when all hell breaks loose? I don’t mind talking about where the story is going, although that seems to be often frowned upon here (at Ficly). I have some ideas of what may have occurred but ask August 2nd, I am erratic and sometimes difficult to follow.
Everyone is difficult to follow at some point and you’re no worse than anyone else, Robert. Like I’ve said before, not having full control of the story line is part of the fun, and that’s why we have the “don’t discuss” rule on In Between Minds. It gives everyone involved the opportunity to interpret the material for themselves and to express their own view of where the story is going. If you and PJ want to discuss the story, by all means do so.
@Robert, I agree with August that having little control over the story is kinda awesome. In my head I have what I think will happen, but this way it makes writing like reading, and it helps, because I am filled with the same feelings of “Ooh! Awesom!” or “How scary!” as the character might be feeling. It’s yours for the taking Mr Quick
This sentence is a fragment : “Before long the child, wrapped in an old child’s komon.” Also, is “komon” supposed to be “kimono” or is it a different kind of garment?
Other than that it is very good. I am interested to find out what happened.
Oh good catch! That was a dummy error! A komon is a simple kimono, like, I’m using specific types of kimono because a kimono is just the broad area of garment… here, because that explains nothing, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimono
