yay! One thing I think is still mostly unexplained here is that his mother was very watchful, so he had to gradually escape the house for longer periods of time to meet his friends in secret. No characters left to do that kind of explaining!
Hm, so it sounds like the characters had a fight between the first and second story, and then his friends came over with drugs to apologize. The narrator overdosed, probably as a result of suicidal tendencies. Those same suicidal tendencies must have been what the friends were referring to earlier when they were talking about the witch. I’ll read the next story now!
