Separation [3]
And suddenly everything stopped, the lights, the sirens, the steam. There was no more power to the module. Then the shaking resumed as the module entered an unmarked planet’s gravity field.
The module began falling to the planet.
“Hold on!” Aaron yelled to Crystal.
Crystal responded with a nod, her eyes still shut tight.
Faster and faster the module fell. The two braced for impact.

The module landed in a water-like liquid on the surface of the planet, cushioning the fall. However Crystal was now trapped as she was still tied down. Aaron tugged furiously at the knot as the module filled with the liquid. Soon they were completely submerged. Panic filled Crystal’s eyes as she was now running out of oxygen. Finally the knot became loose and the two swam out of an opening in the module created by the separation. Upon surfacing they realized that the water-like liquid was in fact water and that this planet had oxygen.
“Where are we?” Crystal asked taking in several breaths.
“Not a clue.” Aaron responded.
