The man was wearing white robes, and had short shaven hair. On his feet were a pair of sandals. And like the rest of the village had a smile on his face.

“I couldn’t help but overhear you were looking for a place to sleep” The man said to Kino
“In that case, I invite you to stay at my house until you leave” He quickly said after, not giving Kino time to reply.

Kino had no reason to refuse. He looked like a trustworthy man. And she would be getting a place to sleep for free. She humbly accepted his offer, and began to follow him

Kino noticed a large building. It was lit up by dozens of Oil Laterns, and on closer inspection looked like a small church

“Ah, yes!” The man said in an enthusiastic voice. This is the church, and one of most important places in the town. It really is beautiful, I would very much like to show you tomorrow.

“I would love to see it” Kino replied.
