A land of believers [Part 15]

“This place is boring, ey?” Hermes said, in his usualy cheeky tone

Kino smiled. “I guess it wasn’t as boring as I thought”

“Kino, aren’t you dissapointed?” Hermes asked in an inquisitive voice “You didn’t learn anything about the lands history, and almost got killed in the process”

“You’re wrong, Hermes” she said “I learned a few things. Like how much people are willing to do, just for some belief that can’t even be proved”

“That’s true” Hermes answered.

It had been several hours since they escaped the town, and were quite assured they were safe. Kino pulled up by the side of the road and made camp near a medium sized tree. She sat down and boiled a cup of tea on Hermes engine.

“I’m not a kettle you know!” Hermes protested

“Relax, this just means your more useful to me” Kino laughed. She sat down next to him and laid out a blanket.

“So Kino, where to next?”

Kino picket up a stick and made a mark on one end of it. She then dropped it, and looked at where the end was pointing.

“That way” She said.
