By creating a series of stories that are dependent on one another, you are missing the point of the site. It’s even worse that you posted them all at once, so you clearly were not interested in feedback.

To Skald’s credit, the plotline is both cliche’ and nearly plagiarized. This is a transcription of a card game that I played with a friend and decided to document turn by turn, so the events themselves were created more by chance than any planning on my part. Also, there are more than ten parts, and as soon as I get some more spare time I plan on posting as many as I can.

As to the ‘point of this site’, it seems to me that the lack of editorial power lends itself to the possibility that each writer can use this medium for whatever purposes suit him/her best. In my case, this consists of pumping out summaries of turns played during card games so that my friends and I can see them.

SlangSkald, didn’t you create a five- or six-part series under “My Finch”? I agree with Jape that the “point” of this site isn’t so easily definable.

I’m not complaining. It’s been somewhat interesting so far, and if the writer continues to improve throughout the story, well… Maybe it’ll turn into something wonderful.

Or maybe, possibly, the card game will go on forever and we’ll end up losing interest. Those CCGs tend to last forever…

Only time will tell.
