Cate-part 20

“Okay guys this isn’t funny! Come out!” I yelled. Nobody replied.
“Guys!” I yelled desperately. This really wasn’t funny.
“Jared! Come on stop!” I said. Suddenly the basement window broke and a rock landed near my feet. I turned to run up the steps when I noticed something tied to it. I slowly reached down and picked it up. I untied the string and opened a small piece of paper. There was a note written on it so I began to read it.

Dear Cate,
Don’t worry about your friends
They are in good hands
I know you know who I am,
But since you can’t prove anything
But I would like to play a little game,
I give you twelve hours to find your friends
Or one by one they’ll meet their end
They’re hidden in places you’ve all been to
In order to find them just follow the clues
They are going to pay for what they’ve done
Your twelve hours have just begun.
With Love,
