I have moments of story like these that run through my head like a train wreck.. There’s a lot here not covered, the half-way house, the neighbors he knows, the huge speech to digest, the odd relationship.. I feel thrown into the middle of something and I’m treading water, pulling at clues to understand.

I think him observing Johnson and discarding him was a nice touch, but I would like a bit more detail – or at least more hints – of what’s going on.

Well written and a good ficly. But it left me confused about what’s going on.
