A few apostrophe errors, hearth’s, cave’s, you’re.. but those aside.. Here you reveal the relationship to the dark witchy hermaphrodite. This now seems like a Mel Gibson movie, tricking us with horror on the outside and then revealing the luxury inside. I love it, I really do, just it seems he must offer her something for the favor he wants her to do. He didn’t bring anything? That’s what I am missing. Someone sequel this and add in a bribe she cannot refuse!
Really steeped in lore and magic, which is awesome. The hermaphrodite thing was unexpected, especially coming off the ‘half brother’ line, so nicely played there. And might I say, bold choice making your “self” in the narrative somewhat sexually ambiguous.
