She took one final drag before the embers faded into her charcoal tipped fingers. Her face all but visible, only illuminated by the brief inferno of nicotine and thin parchment. Pursed lips jagged from a lifetime of abuse. The once flush and polished cheeks now enshrine a burlap relic, once sought by all. Fleeting sight as her eyes feign redemption through a hollow green shell. As the last glimmer died, the grey smoke filled the room with arid affection. She valiantly held her head motionless as the cloak swept in.
