I hadn’t realised until this morning that, strictly, a homonym is both a homophone and a homograph (rather than being a term to describe both, as I had thought). Given that, ‘homonym night’ should be ‘homophone night’ – I’ll change that now.

I have cut the hoarse out from under a homophone night and severed the hyphen from a war-lord! My brain went WTF then I lol’d.

Kidding! Wouldn’t it be horrendous if I commented like that?!

That said, this is an amazng piece. Made me smile the whole way through, and laugh inwardly, rather than Out Loud.

This is great is so many ways. Thanks for the intrigue O you inglorious one, you. This gives the Torunament, as well as all of Ficlyland a deeper, underpinning story; a history not previously known to most.

The errant King’s grammatical errors stand in stark contrast to the precision of the current King’s poise. But then again, King August has sought to kill two of the kingdom’s most trusted knights. Will they side now with King Sanglorian in his return? We’ll have to wait and see! (sorry, I got carried away with this) – Ooo, I love it so! []o)
