Haha, I thought that might happen. What I intended was that in this world, everyone is basically the same – but he had lost sight of that, wanting to forget it, so though someone was talking to him, he made himself believe it to be a mirrored version of himself. By touching him, though, he realized it was a person, not a mirror.
But thank you, I still appreciate it! I’m so rusty from having not written in forever. Urg.

Nice piece :) I liked the twist at the end about why he locked himself in in the first place. But why was the world united? O.o

Well, since everyone was the same, I felt like it was a way to show that they were all together, and that there was no conflict – but there was no individuality either. But I don’t really know, haha :)
