I am not sure who to root for, the witch or the Hunter.

In the 2nd paragraph it should read “Michi had already thrown her cloak off” (no comma in that segment). It also might be good to put the hunter’s internal dialogue in italics to set it off from the rest of the text.

Very exciting stuff, though I was at a loss why the witch hunter would also be using magic. Then again, maybe it’s a whole warlocks vs witches thing.
