You always write with such feeling and emotion. This is quite sad. I see a child drinking from a juice box. But the child comes from a home filled with alcoholism and abuse. The child has been in and out of foster homes. But they can take joy in the simple moment in the sun. I hope they can keep that joy as they grow older and not fall into the same self-destructive spiral as the parents.

I am both very glad and proud that see that in my work. That’s a wonderful compliment.

I do find it fascinating that you found it sad though, and I think that’s actually wonderful that you drew your own conclusions though they may be sad ones. That’s a story that I hadn’t meant to tell – but you’re right, all the pieces are there. Thank you for reading and commenting. I never would have seen it otherwise.
