Ominous ending. I like it and wound up picturing a lot beyond the descriptions, always a good thing I think, that you got me imagining not just the scene you penned but its implications fore and back.
i think there is a lot more to this story, why is she back, what happened to the charmer, and how long has it been since the bar is closed and empty and dusty? Did she buy it for nostalgia? Is she a realtor? Was there an apocalypse?
