Michael Pollan has some interesting stuff to say about the similarities between baptism and preparing food/drink (actually, brining specifically) in “Omnivore’s Dilemma.” It’s an idea with lots of possibility. Good concept here, especially with the hints of West meets East that tie in with the green tea. Or am I just being Western-centric?
One suggestion: “fragrant smell” comes off as redundant. Maybe “heady”? Or something?
