Nice work given the prompt. Very pathetic little portrait you’ve painted here. For some reason I pictured the protagonist as a male, but I suppose you left it ambiguous, didn’t you? Girls don’t usually bring the flowers, I guess. That one sentence about the tourists and their timeshares felt a bit cumbersome to me.
