Uh oh, nice, painful twist for our little protagonist. Never fun to find out you are squarely not the object of affection for the one you adore.

Whoa! Didn’t see that coming. I was more expecting her to sadly give the note to her, but nope! Nice twist, I feel bad for her though. It’s always terrible when you have that hope and it’s just sort of stripped away.

Glad I could sneak in a little surprise there at the end. And, yes, it is terrible.

See, back then, I would have given it to the rightful owner out of respect and sense of duty, but now when I read something like this I’m going ’DON’T Do IT!" in my head just to see what happens.

I know what you mean. I really want her to read it first—before she makes any hasty decisions.
