All I had to do was think up how the characters in Fargo would have a conversation with one of their long lost family members. Too fun.
That was bizarre and ridiculous certainly. I didn’t get the Fargo reference, but I haven’t seen the movie. I initially read it as almost absurdist, but on reread I got more of the parody feel. I’m divided on this one, I guess. It might have worked better for me if I knew the movie.
