Has a really relevant feel, more than the cell phone bit, along the lines of being slapped for questioning – to thwart the innovative thinking that we need so desperately to survive. metaphorically, what if the heavens were run as an office, and how ridiculous the executive system is at putting on airs.

Made me think of a recent story where some televangelist or politician or somebody tried to say a natural disaster was because of gays or something. An amusing piece, even if I’m not on board with the brand of theology.

Not too sure about the slap, a tired response about a suggestion box would have been good. But I still enjoyed. And I could totally see an Esther guarding the outer office, since there is a book of Esther.

I agree that the slap seems a little out of the tone of the piece.

Maybe the slap is a little too much, but getting a write up from HR is rather dry and probably would be too long for a Ficly story. :D
