I’m getting you Red, I’m totally digging your style. I enjoy your moments, you don’t try to cram a whole lifetime or extreme profoundness into your stories, they are beautiful little moments in time, moments most of us take for granted or simply don’t remember.
Yet there are lessons that I get in every story. Like this one: When is 15 minutes really 15 minutes? In a snowstorm, it could be the difference between life or death.
I like that this person wakes up confused and finds someone he (consciously or subconsciously) trusts falling back asleep next to.
I would change one “cold” to another synonym for cold like icy, frozen, etc…
I’ve been in this part of the world, do you live there?
